Introduction

 

I am enjoying my new kindergarten so let me tell you a little about it.

My group is called Frisky Dolphin so our classroom is full of ocean creatures. Juli also goes to my class.

 

The teachers are very kind and they always smile. In the morning we played a lot, learned new rhymes and songs, had a gym class, and also painted cool pictures. Our drawings and play dough arts or whatever we craft are dislplayed on our walls and shelves. The other day we even painted around eachothers bodies. The pictures we brought in of our families are also displayed.

We also have flags, flowers and puppets. The classroom is very bright and colorful from all the toys and paintings.

 

We also played in the garden that I like very much, because it is full of toys, monkeybars with a slide and swings. We can run around, play in the sandbox, collect flowers and leaves. After the garden we had a very yummy lunch, I even got seconds. Afterwards we had apples and tangerines.

 

After lunch we all got a bit tired, so we put down our beds and after storytime with Miss Agi we took a short nap to wake up again with lots of energy for the afternoon.

Later we practiced our show for the graduation of the preschool kids. I get to tell the good bye poem and we will dance too. The rehersal of the show is going great. I can hardly wait to be a preschooler next year, because they already know how to read and write, and know all the numbers too. This must be very exciting!

 

I learned many songs and poems in English and this is fantastic, because not all the children speak Hungarian, and this way I can talk and play with them. I already know the names of the animals, toys, colors and some stories. The other teacher Nicolette always talks to us in English, she thaught us all those.

 

Mommy, I was thinking that I could take piano lessons. There is a teacher here to give lessons, I think I would enjoy that too. There is also Jazz ballet, and the winter skiing, I would love to go to those too. Miss Agi told us today, that during the summer there will be fairy, indian and jungle camps. The boys like the indian theme the most. Will you help me pick which ones should I go to?

 

Now I have to go and get dressed, we are going to visit the petting zoo. They have bunnies, baby goats, deers like Bambi. We can also feed them. This is the same place where we were in the Fall to harvest grapes, except there will be no grapes this time since we already harvested all of them in the Fall.
